N4261C is a very special Jungmann. Not just because of its performance and not because of its quality (although both are exceptional). It is because Brian Karli has used it to bring so much pleasure to so many people. Countless people have enjoyed their first Bücker ride in '61C and as many have flown it for motivation during their own projects. Count me in that group. Brian invited me to fly his Jungmann on several occasions when my project was dragging on and I was getting discouraged. Each time it filled me with enthusiasm and motivation.

Brian started restoring his Jungmann when still a teenager and under the tutelage of Woody Menear at Sky Classics in Pennsylvania.  Twenty years on it was ready for some more attention and Brian was ready for an electrical system with a starter :)

61C is now the first a/c in the USA to sport an "APM" Swiss cowl as worn by so many Dornier Jungmann. It looks great!

Many congratulations Brian.
