Again this year, William and Cleve Cox have offered to host the event at Cox Field.

There is plenty of hangar space available and a nice 10 passenger van for transportation.  The runway is 3300 ft long, 150 ft wide and with nice green grass. The airspace is clear and aerobatics are encouraged.

Food will be provided by the hosts.  A shopping trip to Barefoot Landing is scheduled for Saturday for the spouses who need a break from all the airplane talk. Myrtle Beach is only 20 minutes away.

Lodging:

There are a few spots available in the farm house on the airport, however if you would prefer more modern accommodations, the best/nearest hotel is:

Hampton Inn North Myrtle Beach
2112 Little River Neck Rd
North Myrtle Beach, SC 29582
Phone: (843) 249-1997

I would strongly suggest getting your reservations early.  There is a lot happening in Myrtle Beach this year.

There is also a Winery just down the street from the airport:

The Winery has rooms available.

The airport identifier is N81.  As you can see, Cox Field is plenty long and wide for Bucker operations.

The airfield is just about on the North/South Carolina border with Myrtle Beach being the nearest city.

Let us know if you will be attending.  Hope to see you soon !!
