In the article on Air-Res' stress tests last week I stated "When Dornier obtained a license from Bücker to build Jungmann in Rangsdorf they performed their own stress tests on the airframe and were unable to break it at 12G. As far as I know there is no documentation or proof of this."

I should have checked with Albert Zeller first but thankfully he was kind enough to volunteer the facts. Dornier did in fact test the Jungmann wings to destruction with failure occurring at 13.3 G.

Albert also shared some scans of the written report which I have placed in the Downloads section of this website. The full report can be seen at the Bücker museum in Teufen.

Thank you once again to Albert Zeller.
